We believe that the purpose of the public school is to provide educational opportunities, which will enable children to become useful members of our society. All children will be provided with opportunities to develop at their own rate of growth to their full potential, intellectually, emotionally, physically, morally, and socially.
Further, we believe that basic to a learning situation, the teacher will be prepared professionally, emotionally, morally, and spiritually. We recognize that learning is a creative process and differs with each individual. Therefore, the teacher's task is to provide situations whereby a student has the opportunity to learn.
Careful guidance and proper use of materials at each instructional level are necessary if a child is to achieve continuous progress in the development of abilities and talents.
Finally, we believe that the process of education must reflect a joint effort of principals, supervisors, teachers, parents, and students supported by the community as a whole.
